Prototype made for Low Effort Jam 24
For now there's just a little room to play around in. I'm planning to keep working on this, but I feel like I'm starting to push up on the definition of "low effort" now.
Controls: Arrows to move, Z to jump, X to jump off of a ball

there's a cool trick where if you press left arrow into the apartment building while jumping on the ball and then repeatedly press X to jump off the ball, you can stick the ball into the wall, jump off it, move the ball up, jump again and go up forever :)
agh, i can’t remember if i tried to fix that or just also found it. if i do revisit this i’ll probably code the platforming collisions a little differently (there’s a demo cartridge that i’m hoping to analyze more when i have a better grasp of coding in general, lol). thanks for playing and letting me know tho! :)
